& something to remember about my portrayal.
i am not writing ‘dinah laurel lance’.
i am writing / portraying dinah drake-lance — i know wikia pages are not always the best resources for this… but to help you understand i am linking that for reference. though, i will be including some elements of the comics that qualify as new earth content along with my personal canon for her… but please note that it will predominately be within the realms of her prime earth version and universe.
in some ways? i am combining the two different earth’s versions into my own version of dinah… which is why i will be including stuff like birds of prey and justice league, though those have been hinted in her fletcher run as being relevant.

ON ACTIVITY:
as i do have other blogs, all of which are in varying states of limited or minimal activity due to life and work? this blog shall follow that as well — not to mention it will begin as a voice test.

ON SHIPPING:
i don’t have a lot of ships that i am bound by in my head for dinah, just know that i view her as bisexual with a heavy leaning being borderline demisexual. i also do not see her holding a preference on gender. i am open to mutually exclusive shipping, but please do not pursue it with me if you are not okay with multiship --- my blog is not singleship.

ON STATUS IN CANON:
the biggest aspect i'd like for people to remember? i am writing dinah drake, not dinah laurel lance --- in that i am not including any canon from withing the arrow universe. my portrayal is mainly that of her prime earth (or 'new 52') universe with heavy influence and inspiration drawn from her current 2015 solo run from brenden fletcher.

ON GORE / SMUT:
as with all of my blogs, i’m more willing to write the prior than the latter as long as it makes sense to the interaction of our muses and or character development. the latter is something i am only really comfortable writing as implied or fade-to-black.

ON PLOTTING:
i am always down for this and love to plot out verses (especially au's or ship specific ones) and or new ideas! so, always feel free to hit me up by whatever means we have shared about ideas you might have!
