psa. this is not me trying to be a dick or trying to shame anyone for any of this given it can be personal preferences and or aesthetics, and if this applies to you? you’re welcome to reblog this… but, this is me being honest on this, i do not follow back a blog if any of the following is a thing:
- i cannot find rules, guidelines or bios with ease — aka i don’t have to view source on your coding to find the url or highlight things to scroll or find links.
- you have a small (the 250px entry size or smaller) container theme where i cannot find the scroll bar and thus have difficulty finding and or reading the content of your blog.
- the colors make it hard to read; i.e. they are too close in tone, too bright (or even too pale) or it’s too much black (that strains my eyes and makes it uncomfortable)… and as a result or separately as an issue? i cannot find your navigation.
essentially, i do not do follow backs if i can’t find and or easily read information on your character and or your personal guidelines as a writer. if your blog is simply under construction and says so? i will likely check back on your blog to see if it’s up and readable, and i may do my follow back at that point in time.
